Martine Cornelissen
Martine Cornelissen (1971) is an acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in women's health, and specifically in infertility.
After completing her studies at the University of Ghent (Belgium) in Oriental Languages & Cultures (Sinology), she left for China on a scholarship, where she studied for two years at Fudan University in Shanghai. Upon her return, she started the Acupuncture training at the Qing-Bai Academy of Chinese Medicine, which she completed Cum Laude. Two years later, she obtained her diploma as a Herbalist and received the prize for Best Thesis (Subject: 'Enhance IVF by Traditional Chinese Medicine'). During her years of study, she stayed in Beijing and Shanghai from May to October, where she did her internship and followed intensive lessons in Gynaecology. She still regularly returns to China to continue her education. In addition, Martine was trained by Dr. Trevor Wing at The Women's Natural Health Practice in London, where she completed the TCM gynaecology training with the highest distinction (91%). She also successfully completed the Gynecology training of Prof. Yuning Wu in Germany (Universitat Witten).
In addition to her work as a therapist, she is a teacher at Qing Bai Academy, where she teaches in both under- and postgraduate courses. She is a regular guest speaker at conferences in Holland and abroad, and teaches in the Women's Great Turnings Acupuncture Program at the White Pine Institute in Massachusetts, USA.
An important starting point in her work is guiding women in their awareness of their thoughtpatterns and providing them with tools to bring their lives and health back into balance.
Martine is of Belgian origin, but love brought her to the Netherlands. She is a mother of 2 children. Playing the piano is her big hobby, she also does yoga and loves painting and portrait sculpting.

Ineke van der Ham
Ineke van der Ham (1953) is an acupuncturist and herbalist. After graduating as a physiotherapist at the age of 21, she specialized in sports physiotherapy and completed her training in manual therapy, as well as various trainer and coaching courses. She then worked for about 15 years in international top-level sports, where she coached the Dutch women's and men's volleyball teams, the KNSB short track select and the factory teams of Daiei and Pioneer in Japan. During that period, the unity of body and mind became clear to her, after which she decided to switch to acupuncture. In 1994, she graduated as an acupuncturist and started her own acupuncture practice. Since then, Ineke has visited China almost every year to stay up to date in her field.
Over the years she specialized in gynecology - for which she attended lectures with Martine under Prof. Yuning Wu at the University of Witten-Herdecke - and in dermatology. The latter under Mazin Al-Khafaji in London. Her herbal thesis was about the treatment of miscarriage in Chinese medicine.
Ineke has also completed the 'Oncology-Acupuncture' certification program and is listed as such in the IKNL Referral Guide.
'I love working with people. In Western medicine, people are subordinate to the therapy: it happens to you. In my treatment, people are central. I give the body stimuli to recover and let it do the work itself. I also give advice: instruments that give people more control over their own health.'
Ineke is a teacher at the Qing bai training, where she teaches both the acupuncture training and the continuing education program. She also supervises intervision groups of recently graduated students. In her free time she dances, runs and enjoys reading. And she enjoys all the cultural and culinary possibilities that Amsterdam has to offer.

Marieke Wigmans
Marieke Wigmans (1975) is an acupuncturist and herbalist who graduated cum laude from the Bo Yi Academy. Within Chinese Medicine, she has developed a particular passion for and specialisation in gynaecology and fertility.
During her studies, she focused extensively on the treatment of male subfertility. Her graduation thesis on Chinese herbal medicine explored ways to improve sperm quality and quantity. In addition, she has completed various postgraduate courses in women’s health and fertility.
Marieke is also trained as a cosmetic acupuncturist. This specialised form of acupuncture aims to support healthy, vital-looking skin naturally and help reduce visible signs of skin ageing.
Before following her passion for Chinese Medicine, Marieke studied Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. She enjoyed a successful career in the advertising industry for many years and co-authored several books with two friends on topics including conception, pregnancy, and first aid for children. These publications include Buskruit met Muisjes, D’r Op of D’r Onder, and Buskruit met EHBO.
Marieke’s personal experience with the power of Chinese Medicine began when she developed an autoimmune condition for which conventional medicine offered limited treatment options. Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine played a significant role in her recovery and inspired her to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine, with the aim of helping others improve their health and well-being.
Marieke is the mother of three sons and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves travelling, art and culture, regularly indulges her passion for painting, and enjoys staying active through sports.

Sophie van Doorn
Sophie van Doorn (1974) is an acupuncturist. With great dedication and enthusiasm she has further specialized in I) Oncology-Acupuncture, II) Gynecology; and III) Pain management according to the Dr. Tan Balance Method. She completed the certification program of the IKNL (Integrative Cancer Center Netherlands) and is listed as such in the Referral Guide Oncology Acupuncture.
After her master's degree in History and a successful career as an entrepreneur, the inner work attracted her so much that she decided to sell her shares in her company and focus entirely on Chinese Medicine. In addition to her work in the Zi Yuan Ting practice, Sophie works in her own practice in Huizen.
She has a rich social life and loves her 2 dogs, meditation, gardening, entrepreneurship, tai chi, diving, art and culture.

Fleur Wesselink
Fleur Wesselink (1985) is an acupuncturist. She recently completed her training and has finally found the passion in the field of acupuncture that she had been looking for for a long time.
As an operation assistant, she has experienced Western Medicine up close for 12 years. After her business administration studies (Master Leadership), she worked as a manager of various teams/departments in healthcare (including dentistry/(clinical) mental health care). But the desire to treat and to bring her knowledge more into practice remained.
‘I am always looking for cause and effect. I like that puzzle and analysis and it gives me energy. I love getting to the core of things and solve a problem, whether it concerns a work process, a team, or an imbalance in a body’.
In her spare time she likes to be (active) outdoors: skating, sailing, bushcraft, cycling, running, skiing, forest, mountains, water, she likes it all. Fleur likes to seek out the elements and is not afraid of an active adventure. She lives in Amsterdam with her boyfriend and his two sons.

Belle de la Croix
Belle de la Croix (1981) was born in Thailand and raised in the Netherlands. In her work, she brings together a unique blend of intuition, gentleness, and cultural richness.
Belle is an acupuncturist and massage therapist specialising in fertility support and womb healing massage. These treatments focus on the health of the uterus, the menstrual cycle, and fertility, combining physical support with attention to emotional and energetic balance.
Her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine grew from personal experience. Belle was once a patient of Martine Cornelissen herself and experienced the positive effects of Chinese Medicine during her own fertility journey. This inspired her to support other women through a phase of life that can often be intense, vulnerable, and sometimes lonely. In her treatments, she creates a safe and nurturing space with great care, presence, and intuition.
In her practice, Belle combines acupuncture with body-oriented therapies and massage, working from a holistic perspective on health and well-being.
Outside of her professional work, Belle is the mother of a daughter. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, painting, cooking, and spending time enjoying good food and films.
