Cosmetic acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture - also known as ‘Facial Rejuvenation’ - is a type of acupuncture that focuses on combating signs of ageing. It is a natural, effective and safe method to improve the overall condition of your skin and minimize wrinkles and bags under the eyes. However, it’s not just a ‘local’ cosmetic treatment; consistent with the traditional Chinese approach, your constitutional condition is also treated. Treatment
A cosmetic acupuncture treatment consists of inserting very thin, small needles (intradermals) into the skull, face and chin/neck. The needles are inserted right into the wrinkles. These intradermals stimulate the production of collagen exactly where needed, which fills up the wrinkles. After removing the needles the deeper skin layer is massaged using roll and lift techniques on acupuncture points. This balances the distribution of energy in the face and stimulates increased disposal of residues. This facial massage is healing and revitalising.
